Handbook Highlight: CAMPUS AND BUILDINGS - ENVIRONMENT

CAMPUS AND BUILDINGS - ENVIRONMENT

The beautiful campus setting of Valencia High School, coupled with an attitude of pride and tradition, provides a unique environment for learning.  Teachers are asked to continually support this positive environment in their own classroom, in the hallways of their buildings, and on the grounds.

Any major violations by students should be reported to an administrator.  Areas of concern should be brought to the attention of the Assistant Principal of Curriculum.  Teachers are to keep windows in their rooms closed.  Doors should be locked if rooms are left unsupervised.  Only under special circumstances, as approved by the Activities Director, is eating in carpeted areas allowed.  Emergency maintenance should be immediately reported to the Department Chairperson and to the Activities Director.
