Essential Information - Stuff You Need to Know!

• Professional Development Session 2/5- Click Here to sign up by the end of the day Friday.
• Electives Rush Monday Feb. 5- We will be hosting our first Elective Rush this Monday in the Quad during lunch. This is a great opportunity to let students know about elective classes offered, prior to the beginning of the registration process on Tuesday.
• Registration Card Day 2/6 - Registration cards are distributed to all 9th –11th grade students through zero or 1st period teachers. throughout the day teachers can give input to students on course selections. 6th period teachers collect cards & they are picked up by the counseling office.
• Informal Observations- We will be making our rounds through all classes to conduct informal observations prior to the March 14th deadline. Please reach out to your assigned evaluator if you’d like to request a specific day/time for this observation.
• National School Counseling Week (2/5-2/9)- The week, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), highlights the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S.school systems and the tremendous impact they can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING COUNSELORS!
• OC Hub/Nepris Accounts - You should have already received a username/password from OC Pathways. Watch this VIDEO to understand this resource. The account administrator will be deleting unused accounts on March 1, 2018. If you’ve lost the email, please email THolloway@ocde.us for a password reset.
• Locking Gates - A friendly reminder to staff who use gates to enter campus. Please lock the gates behind you to keep our perimeter secure.
