Essential Information 9/8/17

• Wear Red, White, & Blue on Monday 9/11 in honor of Patriot’s Day. There will be an announcement and moment of silence in remembrance of those who perished that day, and Social Studies teachers will be doing related lessons.
• Review Back to School Night schedule - Show the video and distribute Aeries information to parents during 2nd period
• Test your tech ahead of time, refer to Tech Triage if needed
• Update your staff profile on VHS Website by 9/13 - Login to your account, update profile by 1) listing your current department(s) 2) uploading a professional photo &

3) uploading your course syllabi. Staff directory page shows who is complete! :-)

• Post updated Willams Act Form (in your mailbox) visibly in your classroom by 9/13.
• Provide suggestions for the 9/18 Structured PD PLC to dept. chairs or Mike Young
• Password Reset?: Email/Call the Help Desk for all staff or student password resets. helpdesk@pylusd.org / ext. 82733
• Staff Network Agreements / Mandated Reporter Training: Please submit both forms directly to our secretary, Karri Krie
• Welcome our new Mental Health Intern - Matthew Lara
• Reminder: Teachers with concerns about student’s emotional well being, should refer it to counselors for assessment.
