Our recent school-wide data dig has led to some very healthy discussions of grading practices. Fortunately, there is a wealth of research on effective grading practices vs. “toxic” grading practices. Douglas Reeves has been a primary voice in this discussion for the past decade. His book FAST Grading is a must read.
