Essential Info- Week of 1/21

• Guided Meditation 1/22- Please join our Wellness Specialist in the MPR during both lunches today for a guided meditation in preparation for final exams beginning tomorrow.
• Final Exam Schedule 1/23-1/24- See attached and please review with your classes.
• New Copier Installation 1/23- Our new copiers will be installed on 1/23 beginning at 8am. Only one copier will be down at any given time to ensure access for copying and grading.
• Teacher Tributes- Please send in a 15 second tribute to a student recorded in landscape mode to tigertube@pylusd.org. Tiger Tube will have a camera ready at the adjunct duty sign ups for those who prefer to record on the spot. 
• Adjunct Duty Sign ups 1/25 - Please be on the lookout for the sign up schedule for that morning.
• Emergency Response Training/Practice 1/25 - Learn where supplies are stored and what your secondary role is in the event of an emergency. Meet in the memorial garden at 10:30am. 
• Staff Appreciation Luncheon 1/25- Please join us in the MPR from 11:30am-12:30pm.
• Alternative Grading Strategies Discussion 1/25 - Optional for any who are doing integer grading, minimum 50 or other grading pilot. Open to any interested. Friday Jan. 25. 1pm-2pm - Rm 704 (in MPR).
• Staffulty After Hours Gathering 1/25 - Begins at 4pm at Roscoe’s Famous Deli in Fullerton. 
• Locator Cards Spring Semester 1/28 - Available to students beginning at 7am in the MPR. Please check all students for schedules that day.
• Assembly Schedule Tuesday 1/29 - Please join us in the gym for an assembly by our motivational speaker.
• Winter Reclassification time is here! We will be using Ellevation, our online software program, to complete this process. Teachers will be receiving an email from Ellevation on Monday, January 28 if they have students who are candidates for reclassification.
• Writing Clinic- Schedule a time for the Instructional Coach to conference and meet with your struggling writers. Instructional Coach will work with students individually or in a whole group setting. See flyer for details
• 9 Essential Skills for the Love and Logic Classroom- Love and Logic is a philosophy of raising and teaching children which allows adults to be happier, empowered, and more skilled in their interactions with children. This series is presented in nine separate two-hour modules, each focusing on a different skill. Click HERE for dates and more information.

• CAASPP Testing Schedule 2019 - Please examine page 2 of this shared document that outlines our modified block schedule for state testing May 28-May 31. A calendar invite was sent separately.
