Essential Information - Stuff You Need to Know!

• Monday morning 1/29/18 is PLC time! Department Chairs please remember to turn in your PLC record sheet to your department administrator after your PLC session.
• Start of 2nd Semester- Be sure to check locator cards every period on Monday. Send students with errors in their schedules to the College & Career Center in the period where the error occurred. NOTE: Semester schedule changes are not to accommodate preferences. 
• REGISTRATION CARD DAY 2/6 - REGISTRATION CARDS ARE DISTRIBUTED TO ALL 9TH –11TH GRADE STUDENTS THROUGH ZERO OR 1ST PERIOD TEACHERS. THROUGHOUT THE DAY TEACHERS CAN GIVE INPUT TO STUDENTS ON COURSE SELECTIONS. 6TH PERIOD TEACHERS COLLECT CARDS & THEY ARE PICKED UP BY THE COUNSELING OFFICE.
• Fundraising Reminders- All fundraisers must abide by ASB policies and procedures as well as comply with the nutrition guidelines. Please be sure to touch base with Jeff Loue if you have any questions.
• Saturday School Interest Survey
• Purpose: The purpose of this survey is to develop a district database of teachers who are interested in working on Saturdays. By completing this survey you are not committing to work Saturday School just expressing an interest. There is no commitment at this time.
• Description: Saturday school is an opportunity for students to make up an absence by attending school for 4 hours on a given Saturday. It is designed to be academic, fun, and enriching. This may differ from previous ideas where Saturday schools were used for punitive reasons, traditionally in high schools and middle schools.
• Pay: Teachers who work Saturday School are paid for 2 hours of preparation time and 4 hours of teaching. This pay is based on the teacher contract.
• Hydration Stations- All the hydration stations should be back up and running. If any of the stations are in need of filter changes or repairs, please contact Kathy Klingaman to submit a work order
• Progressive Discipline Reminders - If you are in need of immediate assistance from a campus supervisor, please call Kathy Klingaman at x10040. 
• Staff Lunch Ordering Directions - Don’t forget to take advantage of the opportunity to order customizable sandwiches and salads through our nutrition services.
