Essential Info- Week of 3/11

• New Teachers Meeting 3/12- We will be meeting in Conference Room A at 7:25am. 
• TEDx 3/15- 6pm in the Auditorium. This year’s theme is belonging. The event will be livestreamed by Tiger Tube as well.
• AP exams sales deadline 3/15 - Price is $94/exam and reduced price is $20/exam. Students should see Ms. Hughes in the CCC if they qualify for free/reduced lunch. AP/IB Testing Schedule
• PD Day 3/18- Offerings include presentations by the Placentia Police Department, AP teachers collaboration, AVID extended site team meeting, etc. 
• ELPAC Testing 3/18-3/22- We will be administering the ELPAC this week in the library. Please reach out to Teresa Shermer if you have any questions.
• Sophomore Registration 3/18-22- All Sophomores will be coming to the CCC during their language arts classes this week to meet with counselors to discuss their course selections for next year. Testing will continue in ELD and SPED classes 3/25-3/29.
• Travis Ranch GATE Visit 3/19- We will be hosting a group of GATE 4th/5th grade students on our campus during 2nd and 3rd periods. They will be visiting Academy, CTE, and various other classes.
• Principal for a Day 3/20- We will be hosting Lisa Piatek from Placentia Linda Hospital in the morning. She will be visiting classes and touring the campus. 
• PYLUSD Induction Mentors- We are looking for dedicated professionals who want to help mentor and support our newest colleagues into the profession. • Illuminate Flexible Assessment Training - Wed, March 20, 4 pm, PDA Come and learn about Illuminate’s new Flexible Assessment feature. Create online assessments that contain a variety of questions types that are quick and easy to grade. Teachers of all grade levels and content areas are welcome. Visit GoSignMeUp to register.
